[l2h] .latex2html-init files

For a specific project, I want to have an init file in that
directory read, different to the global one and different to
my personal one.

The docs seem to say that a .latex2html-init in the CURRENT directory
will be read, and its not happening.  Bug, or what?  How can I
fix this?
