Hello Friends,
Tom from Overleaf Support here :)
We have been recently contacted by a user who discovered a bug that
actually looks like a bug in the gentium package when used with pdflatex.
Namely, at some zoom levels and some font sizes, some characters are
showing white artifacts. I can pretty consistently see this in this
Overleaf project:

Both when viewed within Overleaf (we use a modified pdf.js version) and
then downloaded in Actobat Reader. It was mentioned that other PDF viewers
seem not to show that issue.

It's probably because the glyphs are self-intersecting, but weirdly enough,
it doesn't happen when lualatex+fontspec+TTF is used. (That's what we
suggested to the user, but it's not a great solution.)
Any idea what might be wrong and whether it's possible to fix it?
Thanks a lot
Tom
