[fptex] dvipdfm

Hello,

I have pftex under windows XP.
All seems to be allright with the fonts with dvips and pdftex.
But dvipdfm doesn't work with any type1 font : dvipdfm tell me that the 
file fonts.map is not found .
Updmap works on my installation because I installed fourier fonts after 
fptex installation and updmap success in making pdftex and dvips work.
I tried to add the line
f dvipdfm.map
in the config file of dvipdfm but it didn't work : I had a lot of  error 
messages for fonts.
How can I make dvipfm work ?
