[fptex] Adding $HOMETEXMF to TEXMF slows down compilation

Hi Fabrice,

You solved it: 
  kpsewhich --expand-var $HOME
gave
  E:\Joes\
and not
  E:\Joes,

which caused
  kpsewhich -progname=latex -expand-var=$TEXINPUTS
to give
  .;{!!E:\Joes\/texmf, ...snip...
              ^^ 
instead of
  .;{!!E:\Joes/texmf, ...snip...
              ^
