Well, first failure: the mirror did not run from my machine and the packages availaible for fptex-0.5beta1 from ftp://ftp.dante.de/pub/fptex/0.5-beta1/ did not contain any executable. I have restarted the mirror job and verified that this time it is ok. So you have from now the actual 0.5-beta1.
