mktexpk can't find my fonts anymore!

Hi,

I am having a slightly annoying problem while using windvi. It can't seem to
initially find the fonts it has already made PK files for, but mktexpk finds
them. The error is as follows:

kpathsea: Running mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag magstep\(2.0\) --dpi 864
ptmb8r

mktexpk: c:/TeX/texmf//fonts/tfm/adobe/times///ptmb8r.864pk already exists.

Running kpsewhich gets:

C:\TeX\texmf>kpsewhich -show-path ptmr8r.540pk
.;d:/users/jklymak/texmf///pk////;!!c:/TeX/texmf.local///pk////;!!c:/TeX/texmf//
/pk////;/fonts/pk////;/var/tmp/texfonts/pk////;d:/users/jklymak/texmf///pk/model
ess//;!!c:/TeX/texmf.local///pk/modeless//;!!c:/TeX/texmf///pk/modeless//;/fonts
/pk/modeless//;/var/tmp/texfonts/pk/modeless//

Of course none of these paths even exists. This is a small annoyance, but it
does slow down the viewing of DVI files a fair bit. I have lost track of
exactly what distribution I have, if someone knows how I can tell, I'll find
out. Its pretty recent, but not the latest with the install shield.

Thanks for any help in clearing this up.

Jody
