Acrobat Reader 4.0 issue

I know this is slightly off-topic but I don't what to do next....

If I print a pdf file with acrobat reader 4.0 on my kyocera printer (fs-1600+ 
using a kyocera printer driver) the printed page is a little to small. 
Printing with acrobat reader 3.0 is fine. I tried various options from the 
acrobat reader and my printer driver, nothing solves the problem. Any pdf 
file printed with acrobat reader 4.0 is to small (to small means about 5% 
smaller than expected). I ask kyocera about these problem but they say they 
can't reproduce these problem. Can anyone give me a hint where to look ?
