Various problems

Thanks for all the reports concerning various problems with fptex and
windvi. I'm back from holydays and from TUG'99. I will be able to
build an update release for the binaries by September 1st. Many (if
not all) the problems reported up to now should be fixed then.

In the mean time I might ask for some testing. Volunteers are welcome
to grab stuff in the beta ftp area and report about it:

Windvi new features :
- transformations under NT
- bmp and windows metafiles support
- forward and inverse search (if enough time available).
