set the editor for correcting LaTeX errors

Use TEXEDIT, MFEDIT or MPEDIT (depending on the engine) to something
like :

set TEXEDIT=WinEdt "[Open('%s');SelLine(line_num,%d)]"

(not tried ! anybody else ? )
