There is a standalone pdftex-0.13d for win32 in : ftp://ftp.ese-metz.fr/pub/tex/win32-beta/pdftex-0.13d-win32.zip With Thanh agreement, and thanks to Pavel Janik patches, pdftex.exe has been made TIFF aware. TIFF supports the JPG compression scheme now. That does not mean every TIFF file will be read. Please report any problems, Fabrice Popineau
