I know not everything is as clean as we might expect, but it should be 
usable enough. Releasing it now will enable me to work on the next
version, specifically on windvi, setup and texconfig.

Warn me if there is some *big* problem, less important ones will be
noted for the next release.

If everything is fine, I'll move it to CTAN and will send an
announcement in the news.
