[dvipdfmx] Problem with dvipdfmx finding font files

Hi Yannis - is the font-finding thing you reported last month still
broken for you?
I'm sending you the pdftex.map (which is rather small), there are no
duplicate entries.
The xydash10 entry (and all other xy* fonts) is commented out in the
pdftex.map you sent, so it's not surprising the font is not found. Maybe
you sent an unintended version of your pdftex.map?
Also, I wonder if a second pdftex.map or other .map file is being read
with some conflicting entry. If you run dvipdfmx -vv foo.dvi, it looks
like it reports all the .map's that are read, so you could easily grep
them for conflicts.
I have reduced the example to a pdftex.map with a
single entry, still having the same problem.
The pdftex.map you sent has much more than a single entry, though I did
not see anything problematic in it.
I will try to produce a minimal example.
That would be good. Or at least send the dvi that breaks, even if it's
the full one (or maybe you could easily cut it down to a single/few
pages with dviselect). Can't see how to get farther without being able
to reproduce. --thanks, karl.
