/Arigato gozaimasu, /Hirata-san.  Trying now with additional parameter 
string "-z 0 " and yet I still get varying numbers of bytes written :

> test.xdv -> test.pdf
> [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
> 393023 bytes written
> test.xdv -> test.pdf
> [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
> 393009 bytes written
