[dvipdfmx] dvipdfmx: how to use PK fonts instead of Type1?

    Is there an option to override `f' entries from dvipdfmx.cfg without
    commenting them?

I haven't tried it, but if the goal is not to use Type 1 at all,
maybe dvipdfmx -f /dev/null. From the --help message:
  -f filename   Set font map file name [pdftex.map]
