It would have been good to say that in the first place.

As others have replied, but to be clear: positioning of graphics is a completely different problem that you have to solve in the LaTeX document, one way or another. \pdfminorversion, \pdfinclusionerror, and those warnings about PDF versions are irrelevant (as expected).
