You are mixing TeX and algebraic notation!  \frac{a}{b} is TeX, but a/b 
is algebraic:

\psplot[linewidth=1pt]{0.1}{0.95}{
   4*(1-x)/(4*(1-x)+(1/x)*(SINH(sqrt(16*(1-x)))^2))
}
