Hi Thanasis,

the easiest way should be to use Ubuntu's Software
Centre. Just search for "texlive" or "texlive-full" (the
latter gives you a complete TeX Live distribution). See also
https://www.tug.org/texlive/debian.html, under "Installing
the Debian/Ubuntu packages".
