[texhax] where are scripts for LaTeX package "changes"?

According to the docs, LaTeX package “changes” has associated scripts (to remove markup from source, etc.) in directory:

   <texpath>/scripts/changes

I’m using TeXLive 2016, and the only scripts directory I find is:

     /usr/local/texlive/2016/texmf-dist/scripts

But I find no subdirectory “changes” inside that directory. 

Where might those scripts be?
