[texhax] Sum of residue

it looks to me as if it might be possible to find an example in the literature
that uses this E as well as others that are similar but not the same.

if you can find such an example, please send me scans of the relevant
pages, including a copy of the first or title page to establish the reference,
and i will submit it for unicode consideration.

In the 19th century, Cauchy and others author used a special character (like a curved E ) for the sum of residues (see attached file).

How can I use it in TeX or Latex ?
