[texhax] PROBLEM WITH PSFRAG AND MIKTEX

Hi,

I heve been using Miktex to produce my LaTex documents with WinEdt as my
text editor. I've been preparing a paper with various figures that make
use of psfrag to generate greek letters within the figures by substitution.
I've been using this combination for more than a year. Starting two weeks
ago, when I compile the LaTex document and want to see the dvi file using
Yap, an error message is given by Yap and the psfrag substitutions are not
produced. When I generate the pdf document from WinEdt, the figures are
there but the letters in the original figures are not replaced by the
psfrag program.

I uninstalled Miktex (basic) and installed it again and it did not solve
the problem. I also installed the "complete" MikTex but it did not work
either.

I wonder if anyone has experienced this problem. Any suggestion about what
can I do to get the WinEdt/Miktex/yap system to generate the figures
correctly again?

Below I copy the error message that appears in a window when I use Yap to
see the DVI file.

Thanks,

Juan C. Padrino
