[texhax] Differentiating sentences in a paragraph

Maybe there is another justification for 2 trailing spaces?

I gather most people read English text, left to right, top to 
bottom (I do).  I have read that some people (speed readers) just 
scan (center of line) top to bottom, and others only look at the 
center of each page.  Might they need the extra spacing to process 
data?
