[texhax] Can't get Tex Live 2012 to communicate with fonts

Recently we downloaded Texlive 2012 (for Windows) after using a much older
version of Tex (DOS based).

When I try to tex a file, I get this error message:

kpathsea: Running mktexfm caslr.mf

The command name is C:\texlive\2012\bin\win32\mktexmf
name = caslr, rootname = caslr, pointsize =
mktexmf: empty or non-existent rootfile!
Cannot find caslr.mf
kpathsea: Appending font creation commands to missfont.log

!Font \rmH=caslr at 20.0pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found.

Any suggestions?
