[texhax] Gaining flexibility in Beamer

Hello!
Recently, I asked how to use some MS Windows fonts in LaTeX (Beamer). I 
made some progress there, by finding close-enough substitutions. 
However, I wonder how can I use more than one font in the same 
presentation? To be precise, I need my affiliation in different font 
(mathpazo).

Also, is there a possibility to define my own bullets, designed by a 
friend of mine?
