Thanks for the link.  It's quite interesting.  However, there is one
thing which might be misleading:

Well, both, FPL Neu and TeX Gyre Pagella, are approved by Hermann Zapf
and thus deserve the name "Palatino".

What can make a font more authentic than an approval by its designer?
