[texhax] latex2e usage update

I have installed  MacTex 2010 now.   My latex2e experiences remain unchanged.   Here is what I have working in an X
command-line window;  this is essentially the same (from my perspective) as with my previous texLive 2010 installation.
I simply removed the 2010 folder in /usr/local/texlive when installing MacTex.   The umask is 2.
	a)	tex seems to run fine.  I normally only use tex and dvips as well as ps2pdf I installed separately.
                 I use this combination all the time.
         b) 	latex still fails to find the article.cls file when running in user mode.
	c)	sudo latex seems to work perfectly.

Fortunately I can tolerate running sudo for the very short term latex needs I have.
