First you have to draw up the decorations. An interesting approach would be to draw them up in InkScape, then use this:

http://code.google.com/p/inkscape2tikz/

to convert them into tikz code in TeX, which you could then paramaterize so as to fit around your forms. 

Without knowing what imagery you have in mind, hard to suggest anything beyond that.
