Well, just to make you feel better, I'll respond
to your current question : I don't know why you
don't get any response to your questions anymore,
but if I look back at the most recent message
from your mailbox ("[texhax] TeXLive Installation Problem"),
I see two replies from Eduardo Kalinowski, in
the second of which I read "By the way, I had already
replied to a similar message. The OP probably is not
subscribed and did not receive the list reply. I did
send a CC, but his ISP rejected my messages with
a vague "block for spam" message. So he'll probably
not receive the second reply, and this message."

So I think you need to look into Eduardo's comments.
