Well, it's clear that Don foresaw the development of LuaTeX since
he obviously stopped the series of appendices before pre-empting
the use of the letter "L" :-)  Presumably he's still waiting for
Karl Berry to write Appendix K : "Kpathsea, or how TeX finds files" ...
