[texhax] How to TeX or LaTex up a college transcript?

I  am registrar at a small PhD granting institution.

We send  our student's transcripts  on request.

Is there a set of TeX or LaTex macros to manage and produce transcripts?

How would one do some math like grade point averages etc in such a  system?

I could  not find answers to this by google or CPAN.
