[texhax] customizing bibliography

I'm creating a CV from which I want to include my pubs list which I have a 
bib file for.  After bibtex-ing in a dummy file, I cut & paste the 
bibliography environment stuff over to my CV tex file.  However, the 
formatting is screwed up.  In particular, I dont' want the environment to 
print "references" (I want the CV tex file to handle the header/section 
titling).  What is the best solution for redefining thebilgiography 
environment to do what I want?
