[texhax] enumerate and {equation}

Does anyone manage do select parameters in enumitem package so that if
{equation} and other displaymath environments happen inside of
enumerate item, the number (in leqno) would be exactly in the same
place as it would be if equation was not inside of enumerate

\begin{equation}
1+1=2
\end{equation}

\begin{enumerate}

\item Consider

\begin{equation}
1+1=2
\end{equation}

\end{enumerate}

indents but with results which were not perfect
