[texhax] arbitrary page size question

why?

\usepackage{graphicx}
\pagestyle{empty}
\begin{document}
% your psfrag stuff and figure here
\end{document}

then do

latex fil.tex

dvips -E -o file.eps file.dvi

then the original pagesize doesn't matter
