[texhax] Scripts/Macros for TeX?

Hi Kate,

    Is it possible to write my own scripts? HTML? 

I don't know anything about Textures, but in other implementations there
is no scripting language built into TeX.  As for hooks in the HTML
output (Textures can produce HTML?), this must depend on the
implementation.  I imagine latex2html and tex4ht (the two tex-to-html
conversion programs I've used) have their own ways of doing it, but I've
never needed to.

Usually scripts are written as a shell script or batch file or whatever
that invokes tex and does whatever else.

Did you have specific tasks in mind?
