[texhax] How to make latex2html follow custom .sty package

Dear all,
For simplicity, as many of you would understand, I have encapsulated all
the typical \usepackage and environment commands definitions that I use
in my own custom .sty file.
Thus my former big preamble now reduces to a mere:
\usepackage{mylatexpreamble.sty}
The problem arrives with latex2html, because all the packages and
command definitions that he used to recognise in the main file are now
hidden in my custom .sty file.
I would like to find a way to tell latex2html to parse my .sty file and
take the same actions that he did when the preamble was present in the
main file.
The only track that I have found so far is this link:
"To use a custom .sty file, create a local file
called .latex2html-init with the entry $DO_INCLUDE = "style1:style2"
corresponding to the style files "style1.sty" and "style2.sty", all
residing in the same directory as the LaTeX source files."
However I have already created that file and put in it:
$DO_INCLUDE="mylatexpreamble"
but nothing seems to change in latex2html.
Thanks in advance for your answers,
Miguel Telleria
