Personally, I think the Abrahams/Berry/Harfreaves book _TeX for
the Impatient_ is also useful, especially since it gives lots of
examples of how to do various things.  Also, like Eijkhout's book,
Abrahams' book is available on the Internet (in this case on the TUG
website).
