[texhax] wrapfigure or floatingfigure

i (apparently) fixed it by adjust BOTH \footskip AND \textheight TOGETHER.

now i'm trying to arrange figures using wrapfigure - i was trying floatingfigure
and went back.  perhaps you know what i mean - moving the figure around the
document until it 'just works' - no spaces, etc... seems \uline is a problem ..

so : to get text to flow around a figure will one work better than the other?
