You need to tell dvips to use landscape mode, something like
dvips -t landscape -o outputfile.ps inputfile.dvi
By default, WinEdt's dvips macro does not pass any parameters like this.
You'll have to open up a command line, rework the macro, or make your own
macro from scratch.
