[texhax] Ligatures problem

	this sort of thing usually happens with dvips -Ppdf, but in that case
	the ligature corruptions are usually different.
	
	you might try adding -G0 (i.e. "dvips -Ppdf -G0 myfile").
	
	or you could try telling us what you're actually doing (e.g., what
	fonts you're using, how you produce the output that shows this
	problem, and so on).
