[texhax] TeX version is 3.141592?

Hi,

	I'm having trouble with TeX.  When I 
printed the version, I got:

TeX 3.141592 (Web2C 7.5.4)
kpathsea version 3.5.4

	Being mathematically competent, isn't 
the version number of TeX approximately 
pi?  I'm running Fedora Core 4 on a i386 
architecture and tetex was updated on 
Dec 07, 2005 using:

tetex-3.0-7.FC4.i386.rpm

	Is pi the correct version of TeX?
