[texhax] Multicol: alternate vertical rule

Hi !

I'me really enjoying the practicallity of the multicol package.

I've got a trouble in handling the \columnseprule command. My whole document
is without vertical rules (using \setlength{\columnseprule}{0pt}), and I've
got a section that would need one.
I've tried
\setlength{\columnseprule}{1pt} after the \begin{multicol}
or
simply \columnseprule 1pt

but after compiling OK ... no effect.

Thanks to help me in switching on the columnseprule only for a part in the
document.
