[texhax] Numbering in TOC

Dear all

In a "book" environment, I have a problem with the page numbers in the TOC
for elements placed before the TOC in the document. More precisely, the
various "\chapter*"s I inserted in the frontmatter all appear with page
number i (roman notation) in the TOC, but the pages themselves in the
document are numbered correctly.

I could not find any answer to that problem on the FAQ, mailing list
archives, etc... All apologies if the answer is already out there.
