[texhax] TeX -> PostScript, but in a resolution-independent manner

By the way, now I'm curious what is better for non-PostScript printers...

TeX file -> tex -> dvips -> ghostscript -> printer
  or
TeX file -> texpdf -> (acrobat/gv/etc.) -> printer

but I guess it doesn't really matter, or at least it shouldn't matter, 
or I don't know, I'm a little bit confused... To much abstraction...

Thanks. I think I'll be using both (la)tex->dvips and pdf(la)tex and 
publish PS as well as PDF versions online, while printing PS one myself, 
but providing PDF for those, who can't view PS. At least as soon as I 
figure out how to make PDF out of LaTeX file with EPS graphics. I think 
it would be cool if Adobe licensed GhostScript to add PS support for 
Acrobat Reader with minimal effort, but I guess it won't happen...
