Dear Ms. Shefalika

Have you installed MikTeX in your system? If MiKTeX is installed, WinEdit will automatically configure itself to compile tex files.

Otherwise, do the following:

Go to: Winedit --> help --> configuration wizard -> TeX

In this window, click on 'Searching for Executables' and 'Fixing the Path'.

Close and restart Winedt. Now it should compile.
