[tlbuild] building binaries on etch or sarge (Debian)

Hi all,

one question I am thinking about now is where to build the binaries for
linux-alpha: I can build on Debian/etch or Debian/sarge.

sarge:
	old stable
	first release 2005-06-06
	glibc 2.3.2
	X11 4.3.0 (XFree I assume)

etch:
	current stable
	first release 2007-04-08
	glibc 2.3.6
	X11 xorg

So from the libc I don't see a problem, only the switch in X from XFree
to XOrg could be a problem.

What do others think?

Best wishes

Norbert
