Try \RequirePackage{endnotes} in your preamble, \endnote{...} to
specify the endnotes, \theendnotes where you want the notes placed,
and \setcounter{endnote}{0} to reset the notes counter for the next
chapter.  [Better yet, look at page 125 in The LaTeX Companion 2nd ed.]
