Thank you for your interest in MathTran, and your suggestions.

Regarding MathML-to-TeX and TeX-to-MathML, I've surveyed existing work and done some preliminary investigations.  But at present it is not a high priority for me.  (It may be for others.)

I'd be delighted if Google were are to fund TeX-MathML work for a suitable student, but I don't think I could mentor both that and MathTran JavaScript.  Perhaps next year, if the TUG projects go well this year.
