its not possible to install ProTeXt online by clicking on the link 
"proTeXt guides the MiKTeX installation via a short pdf document..." - 
this is mentioned on the site http://www.tug.org/protext/Install/ .

Download the selfextracting image via 
http://www.tug.org/ftp/tex/protext/protext.exe , and extract it on your 
local machine.
