[pdftex] Strange printing problem

Hi,

I've got a really weird printing problem. I'm using pdfeTeXk,
V.3.141592-1.20b-beta-2.2 with font expansion.

I've just finished three books for my publisher. Now he got the proofs back
from the printing house. In two books sometimes wrong glyphs are
printed---instead of regular some glyphs are bold and sometimes vice versa.
But most of the time the glyphs are printed correctly. Strange. And on my
laser everything is ok.

I've no clue how this could happen. Any ideas?
