[OS X TeX] With gwTeX, how to install Bera and Luximono Fonts

This file (in fact, maybe the whole  web2c folder inside your HOME  
tree) was created because of using updmap... instead of `` sudo  
updmap-sys ...''.

Unless you have created on purpose this web2c folder for your  
personal formats, I would suggest you to delete it and proceed as  
Dyballa said, but with sudo

sudo updmap-sys --syncwithtrees
sudo updmap-sys --enable Map=bera.map
sudo updmap-sys --enable Map=ul9.map
