If I understand the question, then most fonts can be used at almost any 
size. Just add
	\fontsize{A}{B}\selectfont
before whatever, where A is the desired size of the letter, while B is 
the size of the \baselineskip (can be left 0 if only one line is to be 
typed).  Often, the exact size requested will not be available and TeX 
will substitute a close-enough variant.  Or you can use a postscript 
font, which are scalable to any exact size you please.
